Recipe: Oats and Honey Bread

Whether or not you want to knead and bake it in a pan or need to use your bread device, this recipe shall be a favourite. Oats and honey upload taste to conventional bread, giving it an additional kick your circle of relatives will love. The short oats are wholesome and upload texture, and the slight honey-sweet style is bound to thrill!


2 teaspoons of olive oil

1¾ cups heat water (105 to 110 levels)

1 tablespoon of dry yeast

¾ cup quick-cooking oats & further for garnish

third cup honey

three tablespoons vegetable oil

2½ teaspoon salt

five cups (roughly) all-purpose flour, or take a look at a 50/50 white and wheat mix for extra taste

1 massive egg


  1. Stir ¼ cup heat water and yeast in massive bowl. Let stand 10 mins to dissolve yeast.
  2. Stir in closing 1½ cups water, ¾ cup oats, honey, oil and salt.
  3. Stir in sufficient flour to shape cushy dough.
  4. Coat any other massive bowl with oil.
  5. Switch dough to oiled bowl and switch to coat.
  6. Duvet with plastic wrap (spray with cooking spray first to stay it from sticking to dough), then quilt with kitchen towel and let upward push at room temperature till doubled in quantity, about 1 hour.
  7. Oil two 8½” x 4½” x 2½” loaf pans.
  8. Punch down dough; form into two loaves.
  9. Position one loaf in each and every pan.
  10. Duvet and let upward push in heat draft-free house till nearly doubled in quantity, about 20 mins.
  11. Preheat oven to 350 levels.
  12. Brush tops of loaves with egg; sprinkle with further oats for garnish.
  13. Bake till brown on best and tester inserted into middle comes out blank, about 40 mins.
  14. Cool utterly.
